Another video to share. This is of a fledgling Redwinged Blackbird (I think) that likes to hang around the disappearing bird stream. It also likes to try and hide under a rock right near the waterfall of the stream.

Category Archives: Red Winged Blackbird I’m still not done with the disappearing bird stream, but I should be real close this weekend. I had all of my mulch and soil delivered today. Now I just have to lug all that stuff to the backyard. I haven’t used my Wingscapes Bird Cam in quite a while and it apparently has some… I’m now on stage 3 of my disappearing bird stream. I’ve finished most of the actual layout. I still need to mortar the rocks, get a ton of mulch for the whole area, and do some more landscaping. I had delivered 3000 pounds of moss rock, and smaller amounts of river pebbles and pond rock…  I had two new Backyard Birds appear this weekend. Unfortunately, I only managed to get a picture of one of them; the Red Winged Blackbird. These birds are quite noisy compared to some of the other Backyard Birds, but honestly I like the sound.
