Category Archives: Eurasian Collared Dove I’ve seen this really white colored Eurasian Dove before, but she now appears to have a boyfriend. First these two were making “googly” eyes at each other, then they started preening next to each other. After that, you can pretty much tell what happened. I apologize for not providing any pictures or updates as of late. I’ll try and take and post new pictures tomorrow. Despite the lack of pictures, I can give everyone a verbal update. The Purple Martin babies (the original 5) all seemed to have fledged now. There are probably 20 Martins flying around every night. …  This is a new bird, or at least one I’ve not seen in our backyard before. It’s a Eurasian Collared Dove, but it was almost white, much more so than the 4 other Eurasian Collared Doves we have. There’s also just a hint of brown on some of its feathers.
