Take a…  In find Carolina Chickadees a very difficult bird to photograph. They never sit still for very long, at least not when the visit the bird feeders. I did get a little lucky with one particular bird after I put out some fresh seed. I guess it was so overwhelmed over the selection, it actually paused…  I’ve fallen in love! I’m renting my ultimate dream lens, the Canon 500mm f/4. This lens is stunning. I received the lens today mid-morning couldn’t wait to test it out on my Canon 7D. I had just walked out in the backyard noticed a Squirrel. Good enough for me. Then I hear the unmistakable sound…  I’m getting better I think at taking shots of birds in flight. One shot is of a Woodpecker who grabs a piece of food then instantly flies off. The other is a Carolina Chickadee that I just got lucky with. I’m pretty sure this is a Carolina Chickadee. These are tiny little birds but they do have quite a voice on them. This guy was drinking out of one of the bird baths in the backyard.
