Spicebush Swallowtail Caterpillars

Remember a couple of weeks ago how I posted about finally getting the 2 Spicebush plants from Joshua’s?
Well those Caterpillars are starting to grow, really grow.  These have to be the coolest looking Caterpillars of all the Butterflies (in my opinion).
Compare the above pictures with how these Caterpillars originally started out.  Quite a transformation huh?

Spicebush Swallowtail Caterpillar

There’s four types of Butterflies that we don’t have in our backyard, but I wish we did.

Spicebush Swallowtail
Tiger Swallowtail
Red Spotted Purple
Zebra Swallowtail
