An ugly day for photography, but I couldn’t resist attempting to take a picture of a flock of Cedar Waxwings in my Maple tree. It’s not uncommon for me to see these birds at this time during the year, and they frequently hang out in the trees behind my backyard in the woods. It would be great if they ever came down to feast on the berries on some of my trees, but so far, I’ve never had any luck with that.

Don & Kate - Cedar waxwings are so photogenic, and are amongst our favorites. It’s rare that you see only one.January 9, 2013 – 9:38 am
