The Purple Martins Have Left

A couple of days ago I wrote a post about a very small baby Purple Martin.  I think nature took over, as there were no eggs, no Purple Martin babies, and no Purple Martins in any of my houses two days ago.  I think they have begun their migration.  Now whether one of the parents got rid of the last baby, or another bird from the colony did something, I don’t really know, but I suspect it went something like, “hey, it’s time to move on, we are not going to hang around while you raise 1 baby, and if you want to, you’re doing it by yourself.
