Chesnut Sided Warbler Taking A Bird Bath

Not sure where this bird came from as we’ve never had one in our backyard before, but it sure is a pretty bird.  It’s a Chestnut Sided Warbler.

This is also the first bird I’ve seen actually take advantage of the bird bath I recently installed just about 1 month ago.

At first it appears to be sizing up just how good it would feel to get in the bird bath.

Then, just like I would do, it sits in the bird bath testing the water.

The nest step is to dip their head under water, and splash a bit on the wings.

The last dip was so good, the bird decides to just take a full swim.
