I have some new pictures to share of the Wildflower Garden and the Butterfly And Hummingbird Wildflower Gardens. I’m also throwing in a picture of a Gardenia shrub for good measure.
Originally I built this bird pond which I hoped would attract birds drinking in the pond. While that idea worked, cleaning the pond was a pain, and I rarely got any good pictures.

There was this great looking Bird Bath that I had seen a few weeks back at this local hardware store. I decided I had to have it, and it would hopefully allow for better pictures of birds bathing and drinking. The photo below shows the new Bird Bath and the bloom of what we call our “Wildflower Garden.”

Last, but not least, I wanted to share a picture of are Gardenia shrub. This plant has quite a history (which Leecy can’t stand for me to share anymore).
This Gardenia shrub was originally a gift from a woman who I met in a puppy training class that I joined with Maggie (my Golden Retriever who is 9 years old). This Gardenia was just a small little plant from the local Kroger store. It was in one of those little pint containers. I’m not sure what possessed me, but I decided to plant it. The picture below is the result. The plant is huge and I have to prune it at least 2 times per year. It also blooms like the picture below 2 times per year. As soon as you walk by this plant you can’t help but to be enveloped by the wonderful smell of Gardenias.
