Second Ruby Throated Hummingbird Appears: A Female

Finally our male Ruby Throated Hummingbird doesn’t have to be so lonely. The male has continued his normal routine, visiting the Coral Honeysuckle, and occasionally the Hummingbird feeders.

Late in the day Leecy noticed what looked a different Hummingbird. I wasn’t quite ready to take a picture and I was focusing on a different feeder.  She seemed a bit more nervous than the male, who doesn’t seem to care where I am standing, he’ll fly right next to me.
