Wildflower Garden Is Really Starting To Bloom

We have two sections of our yard where we are trying our hand at growing Wildflowers.  One section contains seeds that are labeled Butterfly and Hummingbird Mix, the other is the Texas/Oklahoma Mix (I think), both purchased from Wildseed Farms.

I took these pictures at the worst time of the day for pictures (noon), but wanted to share just a small picture of how these wildflowers are already starting to bloom.

Valerie Evanson - I’m jealous! So far, I’ve had 1 crocus bloom. The weather is still cold here in PA and we could still see snow in the next 6 weeks.February 26, 2011 – 10:17 am

texdr - It’s supposed to be 80 degrees tomorrow (Sunday). Everything is starting to bloom. You may be jealous now, but just wait until the summer when you’re enjoying nice weather and we’re cooking down here.February 26, 2011 – 8:04 pm

texdr - Ours are already growing like crazy. Maybe that’s what I’ll do tomorrow, is take some pictures of our wildflowers. I haven’t taken any pictures of flowers in a while. Thanks for the idea!March 4, 2011 – 10:34 pm
