American Goldfinches Are All Over The Place

We have so many American Goldfinches right now they can’t fit on just one feeder!

They seem to know the ritual; wait until I put seed out in the morning, raid the feeder, go back in the trees until the afternoon.  In the afternoon, wait until I refill the seed, raid the feeder.

I also saw a new bird today that we’ve never had in the backyard before.  It’s a Ruby Crowned Kinglet.  Unfortunately, none of my pictures turned out that great as they don’t sit still for long, so you’ll have to wait until I can get a better shot if you’ve never seen this bird before.
