This is entirely Leecy’s creation. She got the seeds from somewhere (she won’t tell me where) and planted them around 6 weeks ago.
I’ll confess, I don’t know anything about this plant, but whatever it takes, it seems to like where it’s at. Leecy said she has about 15 of these “Loofah” things like the one in the picture below.
That “thing” in the picture below is already about 2 feet long and the growing season is about 120-200 days.
You also may notice the big yellow flowers in the right hand corner. Those have been a Bumblebee magnet.
Anyone else ever tried to grow this plant before? If so, what did you like, not like about it?
