First There Were Skunks, Now Possums?

Now this is getting ridiculous.  First there were Skunks, and now we have Possums?  What’s next? (Update #2 Never mind, I just found out.  A Raccoon.  It just chased off the Possum). (Update #3  The two young Skunks just arrived).  This has all occurred in less than 1 hour.  I clearly have a problem.

—————-

I went outside tonight to see if any Skunks were around.  Good news, no Skunks!  That’s because a dad gum Possum was around!

Now before some of y’all tell me I need to call a wildlife trapper (or to just start killing things), I want you to know I did some of that.

Leecy called several wildlife trappers today to get some prices on relocating those Skunks.  Well guess what?  I ain’t paying around $500.00 to have Skunks relocated.

Now on to Plan B.  What’s Plan B?

Plan B is my attempt at making these varmints not find my backyard so friendly.  Today I ordered the Contech Scarecrow Motion Activated Sprinkler from Amazon.  I’m having it shipped overnight, so I should be able to provide an update tomorrow if this thing works.

If Plan B doesn’t work, I’ll try Plan C, as soon as I figure out what Plan C is.

About this Possum.  It was feeding on the fallen bird seed, like every other Wildlife critter I have.  By the time I got my camera, it had scurried over to where I store the mulch and was attempting to hide under there.  By the way, for those interested, I find the small Skunks kinda cute in a bizarre kind of way.  Possums, I don’t like them much at all.

Stay tuned….
