Yesterday when I was strolling around my yard with my Macro lens, I found these interesting things.

I can’t think of a Butterfly that lays eggs like this, but I’m really not sure what they are.

Does anyone have any idea what type of eggs these are?

Tara - I have seen the same eggs on my orange tree. They were being devoured by a ladybug larvae, so I left them, but after searchin and searching the net- I believe these are stink bug eggs, which are plant predators, so it’s wise to scrape them off.

This is an excellent pic. I wish more citrus pest sites would add it as it seems to be a common find… I’ve only had my tree for about 3 weeks and I’ve already found 2 patches of them!November 25, 2011 – 10:58 am
