Yard Full Of Young Cardinals

We have several young Cardinals right now, both males and females.

I also have to give Maggie (Golden Retriever) credit for finding this fledgling Cardinal this morning.

Baby Cardinal Can't Quite Fly

This little one can’t quite fly, at least not very far.  Maggie saw it hopping around in the grass.  We semi-chased it over to an area that the dogs don’t frequent and it’s also the place where a lot of the Cardinals feed.

Not too long after the baby started chirping and mom and dad came over to feed it.
