Purple Martin Babies Update

We took down the Purple Martin house the other day to check on the status of the original 5 babies.

There are now about 20 Purple Martins flying around daily.

The original 5 all fledged the nest and appear to be healthy.

We also saw one section of the Martin house has 4 babies still in the nest, and on the other side there are 5 babies in the nest.  That’s a total of 14 baby Purple Martins thus far, which is the most successful year ever for us (or them depending on how you look at it)!
