A New Dove Species Visits For The First Time

For the past several years we’ve had Mourning Doves and Eurasian Collared Doves.  Today, towards dusk, I noticed this Dove that looked a little different than those other 2 species.  As it turns out its a White Winged Dove.

The colors on the Dove don’t really stand out for me, but I was especially drawn to its eyes.  That blue eyeshadow (or whatever it’s called) along with the orangish-brown eyes I thought were an interesting combination.  I need to read about them as I’m not at all familiar with this Dove.  Hopefully it will continue to return for a few days at least.
