I wouldn't think you could use part of the Chrysalis to repair the wing, I would think it would be too heavy. How big is the hole in the wing? Do you have a picture you could share by chance? One side of its wing stuck on the tile floor as he was getting ready to be released. I did not find him right away. I got her and her wing off the floor but she has a small hole in her wing.
