Took Coco to the vet today to see if there might be a reason she started the feather plucking. $819.00 dollars later it turns out that Coco has a bacterial infection in her croup (I think that’s how it’s spelled). Treatment is antibacterial medication for 10 days, twice per day.
I won’t know until next week how the results of her aspergillosis test and what specific type of bacterial infection she has. Her blood work and white blood cell tests all looked normal and healthy. No change in her x-rays (which is good).
