So I’m going though my latest book, Finding Birds on the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail, and I am having a difficult time deciding. Here’s what I have.
- Candy Abshier Wildlife Management Area -
- Anahuanc National Wildlife Refuge -
- Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge, East Bay Tract-
- Houston Audubon Society Smith Oaks Bird Sanctuary
- Houston Audubon Society Eubanks Woods Bird Sanctuary, Hummingbird and Butterfly Garden and Claybottom Pond
- Houston Audubon Society Boy Scout Woods Bird Sanctuary
- Rollover Pass
- Houston Audubon Society Bolivar Shorebird Sanctuary
- Texas City Dike
- Armound Bayou Nature Center
- Houston Arboretum and Memorial Park
- Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge
- Brazos Bend State Park
- Quintana Neotropical Bird Sanctuary
- San Bernard National Wildlife Refuge
The above 15 are the highest rated out of the 125 places in the book. Can anyone make any comments if you have been to one of these places and how well you liked or didn’t like it?
