Word Of Caution

About those little plastic containers that I use to house some of the Caterpillars (I think they are the “critter cages” sold at Petco).  Although these containers are great for housing the Caterpillars, they aren’t so great for hatching Chrysalises.  The reason is because once the Chrysalis hatches and the Butterfly emerges, it needs something…

Super Hot

The temperature gauge speaks for itself.  We are cooking in Houston and no rain in sight.  The heat index reached 110 degrees today.  Somebody please do a rain dance for this area as we are wilting!  The temperature was over 100 degrees at 7:30 PM when this picture was taken.
